The boy and his father were driving through
a winter's storm
His mother had died just a
few months before

so they turned it off and just stared
The wipers couldn’t keep up with the snow
He heard his father swear

Straining to see through the windshield
The boy was confused
There was something out there

His father slammed the brakes
A woman on the road
The car slid to a bank
Her hair was wet with snow
She smiled like an angel
She didn't seem cold

Tears in her eyes, she stood right there
in the headlights on such a dark night
she said

that God created this whole storm for me to get in touch

Father and son were healed
on that night
Forty years later, in December
the father died
The last thing he saw in this temporary life
was his son hanging the Christmas tree lights
And with his last breath, he rose, hand in hand
with his wife
